For too long, Biblical education has meant one thing: sit quietly, listen, and repeat what you are told without question. But is that really education? At Nopa Foundation, we believe true Biblical education should do something different. It should awaken your mind, stir your spirit, and give you permission to ask the questions that have been sitting silently in your heart for years.
Our approach to Biblical education is built on a simple foundation: God is not afraid of your questions. In fact, He welcomes them. When we read scripture with honest eyes, we discover layers of meaning that surface reading simply cannot reach. We find connections between stories we thought we knew. We notice details we previously skipped. And sometimes, we realize that the gaps we noticed were always there waiting for someone brave enough to ask about them.
The Garden of Eden story is a perfect example. Most of us heard it as children. Adam and Eve ate the fruit. The serpent tricked them. Everyone got punished. Case closed. But is it really that simple? What about the moment when the serpent was sentenced without being asked a single question? In any fair court, both sides get to speak. This principle is called Audi Alteram Partem hear the other side. Why did God not ask the serpent for his side of the story?
These are not dangerous questions. They are honest ones. And at Nopa Foundation, we explore them together with respect, humility, and a deep love for scripture.
Our Biblical Education programs go beyond the surface. We examine ancient texts that most churches never mention, including the Apocrypha, which fills in gaps found in modern Bibles. For example, the book “The Lives of Adam and Eve” reveals that two angels were assigned to guard Adam and Eve. But when those angels ascended to worship God, the serpent found his opportunity. This changes everything, does it not? Suddenly, the story includes angels, worship, absence, and timing.
We also explore the courtroom language woven throughout scripture. God as Judge and Justice as relationship. When you understand these themes, the entire Bible reads differently. You notice things you missed before. You see connections between stories that seemed unrelated.
Whether you are a pastor tired of giving shallow answers, a new believer hungry for deeper truth, or someone who left the church because the questions became too heavy, our Biblical Education programs are for you. We do not tell you what to believe. We give you the tools to examine everything honestly and choose your foundation with eyes wide open.
This is education that respects your mind and your spirit. This is learning that heals.
Most religious education hands you a finished product and says, “Accept this.” We do something different. We walk beside you as you examine scripture for yourself, offering guidance, historical context, and ancient texts that fill in the gaps. You will leave our courses not with borrowed beliefs, but with a faith you have personally examined and chosen. A faith that can handle any question life throws at it.
